The 100% electric new model of the British car brand MG, represented in Turkey by Doğan Trend Otomotiv, the ZS EV, was launched in March at a special price of 1,379,000 TL. ZS EV, which has received 5 stars for safety from Euro NCAP, offers a panoramic sunroof, MG Pilot advanced driving assistance system, wireless phone charging, V2L vehicle-to-vehicle charging feature, carbon fiber-style dashboard, sporty red-stitched seats, and 448-liter luggage capacity as standard in its Luxury version. The new ZS EV is capable of charging the previous ZS EV, leaving 273 km of range remaining! With its advanced technology, updated interior design, and the new-to-Turkey Vehicle to Load (V2L) feature, the new ZS EV is ready to make a name for itself among electric vehicles. Named “Car of the Year” in the UK and Sweden, the new ZS EV’s V2L feature allows electronic devices to be charged or powered, and even allows the ZS EV to charge another electric vehicle. Furthermore, the new ZS EV stands out by leaving 273 km of range remaining after charging the previous ZS EV from 20% to 80%. Powerful performance features in electric driving
The latest version of the ZS model, the 100% electric ZS EV, offers strong performance features in electric driving. The electric motor now produces 115 kW of power instead of 105 kW, and the battery capacity has been increased from 44.5 kWsa to 72.6 kWsa. Improvements have also been made to shorten charging time, increasing the internal AC charging power capacity to 11 kWsa. The maximum DC charging power has been raised to 92 kW, reducing charging time from 40 minutes to 30 minutes from 30% to 80%. The energy consumption of the new ZS EV has decreased to 17.8 kWsa/100 km, while the WLTP range has increased from 263 km to 440 km. With its ability to now reach a range of 591 km in the city, the new model has become one of the most ambitious options in its segment. The maximum speed of the ZS EV has also been increased from 140 km/h to 175 km/h, completing the 0-50 km/h acceleration in 3.6 seconds and the 0-100 km/h acceleration in 8.6 seconds. With its Eco, Normal and Sport driving modes and KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) with 3-level energy recovery options, the ZS EV meets all the needs of its users while also allowing them to control their range. The intelligent battery management system ensures more efficient use of the battery, while the top-level battery protection feature prioritizes safety.

ZS EV is coming with 13 new and 26 improved features.
The new ZS EV offers much more with its design, equipment, and interior features. The length of the new ZS EV has increased by 9 mm to 4323 mm, while the height has increased by 5 mm to 1649 mm. The new ZS EV, which presents a more electric and premium appearance, stands out with its flat MG logo and body-color closed grille. The lower grille design, dark-colored headlights, charging port, and front bumper deflector are among the other front-end improvements. Additionally, the 21-LED “Silverstone” headlights in the front provide lower energy consumption, have a usage life of over 50,000 hours, and provide 144% brighter lighting. The new 17-inch dual-tone sport alloy wheels, with their optimized and wear-resistant structure, contribute to reducing wind noise and energy consumption. The dark “Phantom” LED taillights, new rear fog lights, and rear bumper deflector are also among the rear design innovations.
Inside, the new center console, which includes new keypads, and red-stitched sport seats stand out. Soft materials offer comfort, and the front passenger seat, like the 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, has a heating function. The MG ZS EV’s developed interior equipment includes a total of 5 USB outputs, wireless phone charging, a handle on the center console, a 360-degree camera, automatic air conditioning, ventilation outlets for the rear seats, cup holders in the rear seat armrest, and a rear middle seat headrest. The 10.1-inch reflection-proof and fingerprint-proof touch screen in the center console can be used to manage multimedia interfaces, as well as important driving adjustments, including MG Pilot functions. The new model comes with a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, PM2.5 filtered climate control, heated front seats, leather multifunction steering wheel, LED headlights and taillights, a 6-way adjustable electric driver’s seat, 40:60 split-folding rear seats, keyless entry, electrically adjustable and heated side mirrors, and newly designed 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels. In addition, it includes the advanced driving support system (ADAS) called MG Pilot. Features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Monitor, and Traffic Jam Assist are included under this system.
The new ZS EV is available in five different body colors: Dover White, Pebble Black, Diamond Red, Battersea Blue, and Blade Silver. MG electric models are delivered with a 7-year/150,000 km warranty, which includes the electric drivetrain and battery.
